Program Overview:
Students may choose their marketing electives to complete one of the following concentrations:
(Completing a concentration is not required.)
- Service Operations: To complete this concentration, students must take MAR 4840, Service Marketing, and three marketing electives.
- Supply Chain Management: To complete this concentration, students must take MAR 3461, Principles of Purchasing, MAR 4203, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and two marketing electives.
- Sales and Customer Relationship Management: To complete this concentration, students must take MAR 4403, Sales Management, MAR 4860, Customer Relationship Management, and two marketing electives.
The Marketing major is a limited access program. To be admitted to the Marketing major, a student must meet the admission requirements for limited access programs in business. These requirements are described in a separate handout titled Admission Requirements for College of Business Limited Access Programs.

General Business Breadth Requirements for Marketing Majors: Students must earn a "C-" or better in each course. *The same course may not be used to satisfy part of the General Business Breadth Requirements and part of the Marketing Major Area Requirements.
1. Students may choose their marketing electives to complete one of the following concentrations. (Completing a concentration is not required).
- Service Operations: Take MAR 4840 plus any three (3) other marketing electives from the list above.
- Supply Chain Management: Take MAR 3461 and MAR 4203 plus any two (2) other marketing electives from the list.
- Sales & Customer Relationship Management - Take MAR 4403 and MAR 4860 plus any two (2) other marketing electives from the list above.
2. In addition to the requirements outlined above, each student must complete all University-wide requirements for graduation. These requirements include liberal studies requirements, the multicultural requirement, the Gordon Rule writing requirement, the summer school requirement, the FSU residency requirement, and total hours requirements.
3. Transfer of upper-level business courses must be from business colleges at other 4-year, accredited institutions. These courses must carry prerequisites similar to those of the courses they are replacing, and they must be approved by the College of Business Undergraduate Programs Office. Once enrolled at FSU, students should not take any course at another institution without first receiving approval from the College of Business Undergraduate Programs Office.
