The Entrepreneurship major leads to a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. As an Entrepreneurship major, you will be exposed to entrepreneurial concepts and successful entrepreneurs. Emphasis is placed on experiential learning as you write a business plan and complete a feasibility study. Many Entrepreneurship majors complete a double major in an additional business discipline, such as Marketing or Finance.
If you have ever thought of owning and running your own business, you need to consider majoring in Entrepreneurship. Students in this major learn how to find business opportunities, and how to put the resources in place to exploit the opportunity.
With a major in Entrepreneurship, you will be trained to either run your own business and/or work for other companies in an entrepreneurial role. We have many large companies that want to hire our graduates because entrepreneurial training is excellent preparation for managerial positions in an independent unit of a large business.
The number of students admitted to the Entrepreneurship major is limited. Applications are accepted twice each year. For more information about the application process, click here.
