Overview:
Food scientists work to ensure that foods are safe, nutritious and delicious. Food Scientists use the latest in food manufacturing to turn agricultural commodities into products that consumers want to buy. Typical employment areas for graduates of food science include quality assurance, quality control, product development, sensory science and flavor chemistry.
